what does Valentine have? A executed "pagen" and massacare on Clark St. (In Lincoln Park... how so appropriate)?
I'll take the benign SAD over historical baggage and conflicting nature of Valentine (aka Cupid, Eros, etc.).

Also, I openly and vehemently dislike Hallmark to a point that crossing the fiery Styx in a creaky rowboat is a walk in the park.

Secretly, I admire Hallmark for their genius in creating an de facto holiday. I wish I could come up with something like and the world pay me for a chance of feeling something that I guess isn't there everyday (after brainwashing of course)

But you all will not have to pay for my de facto holiday... instead you could join me in overtaking this world, then sleeping on a bed of Euros, and finally creating lobbyists to protect our income...
