I just finished watching Sophie Scholl: The Final Days.
As much as I loved it and the performance, I'm disappointed that I never knew about her or White Rose.
White Rose was a non violent movement against Hitler/Nazi movement during WWII. Using words, White Rose tried to sway the mass into thinking individually.
While anyone involved was either imprisoned or executed, the last of their writings was smuggled out of Germany and into British hands, where they air dropped the writings during the war.
